Another student has been arrested for being in possession of a knife after he threatened to stab someone while in the classroom.

This comes just one day after a Form two student at Mokwerero Secondary school in Nyamira County attempted to kill a deputy principal at his school and only two days after another student also stabbed two teachers in Kisii School.

The DCI’s statement revealed that the police were informed about the knife-wielding student by the school principal.

“The school’s principal had reported to our officers in dismay, that some pupils had sneaked knives into their classroom,” the report read in part.
