Three Nigerian nationals have been arrested over the disappearance of a 15-year-old schoolgirl in Ruaka, Kiambu County.

Detectives attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested the three Nigerian nationals identified as Morah Stanley Apple, Boniface Nnamdi Nkachukwulu and Godwin Ovoepeke at Courtyard Apartments on Sunday evening, January 3, 2020.

A report by the DCI revealed that the three had been trying to lure the minor into their house, a narrative supported by suspects’ neighbours.

“The minor’s distraught parents have been looking for their daughter in vain, only to realize that she had on various occasions been lured to the apartment where the three men reside,” the statement read in part.

It has emerged that the three were on several occasions seen with the minor on diverse dates during the festive season.

The arrest of the three also led to the nabbing of Neema Maisori, a Kenyan who detectives believe is key in finding the whereabouts of the missing minor.
