Roots Party leader Prof George Wajackoyah now says his votes were stolen during the 2022 presidential election.

Wajackoyah, who garnered a total of 61,969 which was 0.4 per cent of the total votes cast in the poll, claims 2.8 million of his votes were stolen.

This he said during Sunday’s rally at Jaranda gardens where he noted that he is now working in support of Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s efforts to fight for Kenyans’ rights.

“Ruto must go. Gachagua must go!” Wajackoyah stated.

At the same time, Wajackoyah clarified that he is not interested in toppling or failing anyone’s government.

“Baba knows that I have been involved in overthrowing so many governments all over the world. I have no interest in toppling any governments,” he noted.

Further, he claimed that there were cartels working with President William Ruto behind Raila’s back within the Azimio coalition.

“I want to warn the cartels who are here. Today you are in Jacaranda, at night you are Sugoi,” he proclaimed.

He also asked for Raila’s support in defending his party, which he claims Attorney General Justin Muturi wanted to disband because of its ties to marijuana.

This comes as a plot twist as Wajackoyah and his Agano Party counterpart David Mwaure were the first to congratulate President Ruto following the Supreme Court verdict on the presidential petition.
