PHOTOS: Ruto, Raila visit Museveni

President William Ruto and Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday visited Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni in Uganda.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed Raila’s candidacy for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship and the two countries’ commitment to deepening their diplomatic and economic ties

“Kenya and Uganda are committed to the deepening of the long-established diplomatic and economic ties between our two countries. This relationship includes bringing all the seven East African Community nations closer in their ultimate goal to form the East African Political Federation,” a statement shared by the President read in parts.
