Self-proclaimed grandson of the late ex-President Mwai Kibaki has today attempted to disrupt his state funeral service, which was being held at Nyayo Stadium, just minutes after President Uhuru Kenyatta concluded paying tribute to the departed ex-President.

The man made his way to a podium that was designated for the clergy and asked for an opportunity to pay tribute to his alleged grandfather.

Allan Makana hit news headlines last week after he stripped and cried uncontrollably at the Parliament buildings where the body of the departed ex-President was lying in state.
