Youngster Job Ochieng extends impressive goalscoring streak in Spain

The Kenyan forward stormed to a perfect start, slamming home the opener in the first minute. The strike sparked wild action at both ends, with the visitors levelling the tie straight after the restart.
The drama was far from over, however, as Real Sociedad flipped the script back with a goal of their own through Gorka Carrera.
The goal continued Ochieng’s fine run for the club, marking his fourth consecutive match in which he was on the scoresheet.
Fine scoring run
Among his catalogue of recent goals is a strike once again, as Real Sociedad B claimed a convincing 2-0 away win over Cádiz CF on February 24, 2026.
He was also on the scoresheet a week earlier, scoring the winning goal for Real Sociedad B in a Monday night victory, a 2–1 triumph over Málaga CF.

His latest clash on Saturday, March 2, 2026, saw him bag a goal for Real Sociedad’s B side in a 3-2 defeat to Deportivo de La Coruña.
Ochieng first made his move to Spain in 2019 for the Maspalomas youth academy. He made his steps through the ranks before being snapped up by the Anoeta club, where he has been an epiphany in 2025, earning several inclusions to the senior team squad for La Liga matches

His career milestone moment came at the start of 2026 when he made his La Liga debut for Pellegrino Materazzo’s team, becoming the third Kenyan to feature in La Liga after McDonald Mariga and Michael Olunga.
