Pamzo lauds APS Bomet improvement amid relegation scare
APS Bomet’s Sammy Pamzo Omollo has noted the progress made by his charges as the club seeks to step up its FKF Premier League survival bid.
The league newcomers are among the teams facing the danger of dropping out of the top flight this term, currently ranking 17th in the 18-team table with fewer than ten games left.
In an interview on Saturday, March 28, 2026, the well-travelled tactician revealed that his side has been showing steady progress, citing their recent form.
Inspiration
“Our preparations are going well by the day. The best thing about this team is that we keep improving with each passing day. It is something that we can draw a lot of inspiration from,” he stated.
Bomet’s next task is a tricky tie against mid-table side Nairobi United at the Gusii Stadium, a clash which Pamzo says will be a difficult encounter.
“The clash will be a difficult one, especially if the weather changes, but we are prepared for any eventualities,” he stated.

Pamzo also revisited praise for the club’s top scorer, Hansel Ochieng, who has been a key cog in the APS Bomet campaign despite an injury-ravaged season.
Hansel impact
“We rested him for the previous tie, and we hope he comes back fresh for the clash. He has had good times at this venue, and we hope he can continue the trend of scoring here,” he stated.
His remarks come as he exuded optimism that his team will avoid the relegation axe at the end of the season.
In an interview on Monday, February 15, 2026, the tactician who traded Posta Rangers midway through the campaign for Bomet’s team revealed his strategy to help the team avoid the chop.
“I know we are going to survive the league. This has been my message to the club and the players. When you lose against Gor Mahia and you have played well, you have to be proud.
“But for the teams that are below us and those few ahead of us, we need to collect points from them. Everything is in place, the foundation is there, and I am impressed with our game. All will soon work out,” he opined.
