Nejmeh SC has released creative midfielder Austine Odhiambo to join the Kenya national team camp ahead of the June 2026 international friendlies.

The former Gor Mahia ace has left Beirut for his home country, to join the lines of the Harambee Stars in preparation for the friendly matches against Kyrgyzstan and Palestine on Wednesday, June 3 and Saturday, June 6, 2026.

These two fixtures come as part of the preparations of the Kenyan national team for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that kick off in September 2026.

In a statement released by the Lebanese League giants Nejmeh, Odhiambo will return to Beirut before the resumption of the league that was suspended in March 2026 owing to the ongoing war between the USA, Iran, Israel and Lebanon.
