AFC Leopards set to unveil 2026/27 squad against KCCA FC

AFC Leopards will officially unveil their squad for the 2026/27 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season on Saturday as they host Ugandan side KCCA FC at Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
The much-anticipated squad presentation will form part of a full day of activities for Ingwe supporters, with the club using the occasion to introduce its new-look team ahead of the new domestic campaign.
KCCA FC, who are the reigning Ugandan Super 8 champions, will provide the opposition in an international friendly scheduled to kick off at 3.00 pm as they also parade their new signings.
The Nairobi-based giants have invited their supporters and KCCA FC followers to Nyayo for what promises to be an important pre-season test as both sides continue their preparations for the season ahead.

The event will give AFC Leopards fans their first opportunity to see the club’s 2026/27 squad assembled and officially presented before they begin their FKF Premier League campaign.
In a matchday announcement, AFC Leopards welcomed their Ugandan visitors and called on supporters to turn up in large numbers.
“To our visitors KCCA FC from Kampala, Uganda and all our fans, we welcome you all to Nyayo National Stadium today.”
The club added that the squad unveiling will precede the international friendly, urging supporters to make the most of the occasion.
“We officially present to you the AFC Leopards SC 2026/27 FKF-PL squad and then later at 3.00pm play an international friendly match against Ugandan Super 8 Champions KCCA FC.”
The fixture is expected to offer AFC Leopards head coach Fred Ambani an opportunity to assess his players against international opposition while fine-tuning the team ahead of the new FKF Premier League season.
For KCCA FC, the encounter will also provide valuable preparation as they build towards their own competitive commitments in Uganda.
For the 2026/27 season, AFC Leopards have bolstered their squad with key arrivals including Ugandan international midfielder Taddeo Lwanga from Vipers SC, experienced Ugandan goalkeeper Tom Ikara from BUL FC, and defender Robinson Musungu from Mara Sugar FC.
