Ahead of their crucial FKF Premier League encounter against Tusker FC at Gusii Stadium on Saturday, 21 February 2026, Shabana FC has issued a passionate appeal to their supporters, urging them to uphold discipline, protect stadium property, and demonstrate true sportsmanship both on and off the field.

In a fans’ notice released on Thursday, February 19, 2026, ahead of the much-anticipated clash, the Kisii-based club emphasised the importance of responsible fan conduct, stressing that the behaviour of supporters directly reflects the identity and values of the team. Shabana called on fans to take care of the stadium facilities, warning that any form of vandalism will not be tolerated.

No room for vandalism

”Vandalising stadium property is highly prohibited. Take care of the stands. Say NO to Counterfeits, Support the club. Support the game. Wear with pride. Throwing of Objects to the field of play is prohibited. Pitch Invasion while celebrating a score is prohibited. If you will be caught on Camera undertaking prohibited actions, you will be held responsible,” the statement read in part.

The club also urged supporters to reject counterfeit merchandise and instead buy original Shabana FC kits and branded items. According to the club, purchasing genuine products not only shows pride and loyalty but also provides direct financial support to the team. “Buy original, wear with pride, and support the club,” read part of the statement.

In a bid to promote transparency and accountability, fans were further advised to always demand a ticket after paying cash at the gates, noting that ticket sales are a vital source of revenue for the club. “Nunua ticket, jenga timu,” the club urged, encouraging supporters to help build a stronger team through proper ticketing. They were also encouraged to speak out if they noticed any illegal shortcuts or irregularities at the entry points.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere at Gusii Stadium is expected to be electric as the Glamour Boys entertain the bruised Tusker FC, who will be having a new coach in the dugout after Charles Okere was shown the door earlier in the week.
