“Hala, kuna nini hapo nje? We have Bandari kesho, chukueni tickets pale Kasarani. Stadium itakuwa lit,” the statement read.
Translating to: “What’s happening out there? We play Bandari tomorrow. Let us all purchase our tickets for the Kasarani clash. It will be lit.”
Leopards’ loss to Police has thrown a spanner in the works of the title race, with Kenya Police FC now officially joining the chase for ultimate honours.
The reigning champions had largely been considered outsiders in the race to defend their title, but a spate of losses by the frontrunners has allowed them to crash the party.
Nicholas Muyoti’s side is in a splendid run of form, with their unbeaten run now standing at three consecutive wins and five victories in their last six outings.
Meanwhile, at the top of the table, Gor Mahia looks to restore a five-point cushion on Sunday with a win against Bandari. Such a lead could prove critical ahead of the highly anticipated Mashemeji Derby, which is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2026.
