FKF Cup: AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia slayers BB Bread land Kenya Police in Round of 16

Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards’ tormentors, BB Bread FC, have been drawn against Kenya Police in the round of 16 phase of the premier knockout competition, the FKF Cup.

The Football Kenya Federation on Monday, March 23, 2026: the minnows’ side drew the former FKF Premier League champions.

BB Bread eliminated AFC Leopards at the preliminary stage before scoring a giant-killing sequel by delivering a similar devastating blow to 2025 finalist Gor Mahia in the round of 32 at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Third FKF PL opponent

Ajastine Onkoba’s team will mull the prospects of expelling a third KPL side and extending their fairytale run in the competition for a third with a coveted berth in the last eight at stake.

Meanwhile, in other fixtures, Tusker FC were pitted against Kariobangi Sharks.

An all-FKF PL matchup will also be witnessed as cup holders Nairobi United FC visit Posta Rangers in the next edition.

Shabana draw non-league opponents

The sole non-league club standing in the Premier knockout competition, Kuta Collection FC, will host Shabana FC, who eliminated Muhoroni in the previous stage.

Meanwhile, Embu-based 3K FC will be at home against Bandari FC.

Eldoret-based division side Mfalme FC also landed a tough assignment with a date against FKF PL side Murang’a Seal FC.

The Joseph Omondi-captained team will eye similar tidings after narrowly edging Naivasha SYFA at the Radar Grounds to advance.

Another Eldoret team, Chebaiywa Lions, who eliminated Gucha Youth, will pit their wits against KCB FC.

Homeboyz vs Ulinzi Stars

2023 winners, Kakamega Homeboyz’s quest for reclaiming the gong will also be up against a tricky customer in the form of Ulinzi Stars.

The Soldiers kicked off their campaign on a slow note before dispatching Zoo FC in the last rounds. The FKF PL side will hope to continue their impressive run in the cup tie amid a stuttering season in the league front.
