Arsenal set for massive Premier League trophy parade across North London
Arsenal supporters are preparing for a huge day of celebrations as the club’s men’s and women’s teams take part in a victory parade through north London on Sunday, May 31, 2026, following a historic season.
The Gunners ended a two-decade wait for the Premier League crown and will showcase the trophy during an open-top bus procession around the borough of Islington. The women’s team will also join the festivities, displaying the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup they captured earlier in the campaign.
The men’s squad could have had even more silverware to celebrate after their UEFA Champions League showdown with PSG in Budapest on Saturday evening, May 30, 2026, where the Parisians had the last laugh in a penalty shoot-out.
Parade route
The celebration convoy is scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm (2:00 pm GBT) and will travel approximately five miles through several well-known neighbourhoods, including Highbury, Canonbury and Upper Street, before returning to the area surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Starting near Arsenal’s home ground, the buses will pass along major roads such as Holloway Road, Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road, Green Lanes, Essex Road and Upper Street before completing the circular route.
Authorities expect some sections of the route to attract particularly large crowds, especially around Highbury Fields and areas close to Highbury & Islington station.
Area restrictions
Supporters have been advised not to gather around the Emirates Stadium itself or nearby roads including Drayton Park, Hornsey Road and Benwell Road. These locations will be closed to pedestrians, and parade participants will not be visible from those points.
Fans hoping to watch the celebrations are encouraged to position themselves along the designated route instead.
The timing has largely been influenced by international football commitments. Several Arsenal players are expected to join their national teams on Monday ahead of the FIFA World Cup, which begins in North America in June 2026.
Major road closures will be enforced throughout Islington from the early hours of Sunday morning until at least 8:00 pm.
All roads forming part of the parade route, together with many connecting streets, will be affected. Parking restrictions will also be in place, and vehicles left within restricted zones risk being removed. There will be no public parking available around the Emirates Stadium.
Travel advice
Transport officials have warned supporters to expect disruption throughout the day. Several underground and rail stations near the route may operate with limited access, temporary closures or crowd-control measures.

Bus services in the area will also be diverted, and passengers are being encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.
Supporters have been reminded that flares, fireworks and other pyrotechnics are prohibited. Fans have also been asked not to climb on structures, street furniture, trees or barriers and to be mindful of families, children, disabled supporters and residents.
