Maximum temperatures in Lodwar and Marsabit are expected to be 37°C and 26°C, with lows of 22°C and 17°C, respectively. Sunny intervals will prevail throughout the day.
Residents are advised to exercise caution outdoors, as the combination of wind and occasional rain may lead to hazards such as fallen trees or minor power disruptions.
Other regions
The rest of the country, including Nairobi, Mombasa, and the southeastern lowlands, will largely enjoy sunny intervals.

Nairobi will see a high of 27°C and a low of 15°C, while Mombasa is forecast at 33°C max and 23°C min. Other coastal towns, including Malindi and Lamu, will also experience sunny conditions throughout the day.
Even coastal regions that occasionally experience rainfall are expected to remain dry, providing favourable conditions for travel and outdoor plans.
The Met Department has urged the public to remain vigilant and follow updates throughout the day.
While rainfall is limited to specific regions, unexpected showers and gusty winds in the highlands and northern counties could affect local communities.
While most Kenyans will enjoy a sunny day, those in affected areas should be prepared for wet and windy conditions.
