Nairobi Water to hold customer service clinic in Kayole for new supply line

By , July 6, 2026

Nairobi Water has invited Kayole residents to a customer service clinic to sort out connection issues before rolling out a new water supply line. The session, organised by the firm’s Corporate Affairs and Liaison Department, targets water users across the Upper Embakasi Region.

According to the utility company, the main goal is to ensure smooth services for households and businesses ahead of the infrastructure upgrade on July 8, 2026.

The utility firm went to social media to urge locals to turn up in large numbers for the event. In a post on X, the company wrote, “Wakaaji wa Kayole, tupatane Wednesday, 8 July pale Horizon area Kayole kutoka saa mbili asubuhi.”

The meeting is set to kick off at 8:30 am at the Horizon Area within Kayole Central Ward, giving residents a chance to engage directly with officials.

Fixing meters and connections

This clinic focuses on getting everyone on the same page before the new supply line goes live. Nairobi Water wants to regularise all water connections in the estate to clear up any existing hitches.

This exercise involves checking the status of connections to ensure they are legal and properly documented in the company’s system.

Another major focus of the day will be the positioning of water meters. Residents will get hands-on direction on how to relocate and set up their meters in approved, accessible places.

The company noted that keeping meters in open spots aligns with standard requirements. This makes it easier for meter readers to take accurate readings and helps prevent cases of water theft or vandalism in the area.

Getting ready for the new line

To get linked to the newly laid water line, customers must meet all the compliance rules set by the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company. The clinic will offer direct, step-by-step customer support to ensure no one is left behind during the transition.

Officials will guide residents through the paperwork and technical steps required for a clean upgrade.

For those who cannot make it to the Horizon Area on July 8, 2026, help is still available through regular channels. Residents can visit the Upper Embakasi Region Customer Care Office located at Shujaa Mall.

Customers can also get assistance by calling 0725120022 or sending an email to infoUpperEmbakasi@nairobiwater.co.ke to sort out their bills and connections.
