Kenya Red cross issues update after fire broke out at Blue Bar in Kabarnet

In a statement shared on its official X account on Monday, December 22, 2025, the humanitarian organisation confirmed that it is responding to the incident alongside County Fire Services and the local community.
“The Kenya Red Cross, alongside County Fire Services and the local community, is responding to a fire incident at Blue Bar, opposite National Oil in Kabarnet town, Baringo County,” the Red Cross statement reads.
At the time of this publication, the cause of the fire remains unknown; however, the Kenya Red Cross has assured the public that updates will be provided as the situation develops.
“Cause unknown. Updates to follow,” the Kenya Red Cross stated.
Further details are expected once the fire has been fully controlled and investigations into its cause are underway.
