Sherlyne first announced her pregnancy on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, when she shared stunning photos showing off her baby bump. Clad in a caramel off-shoulder dress, she cradled her growing belly as she smiled with joy.
“Our little miracle is on the way. I dreamed for you. I prayed for you. I manifested you. Thank you for entering my womb and making me realise how blessed I am!” she captioned the post.
During a recent Instagram live session, Sherlyne disclosed that her baby’s father is the same man who had previously called off their wedding. She revealed that despite their challenges, love won.
The California-based socialite, who gained fame through her involvement in Club Covid and her past relationship with former Kiss FM host Oga Obinna, opened up in June 2023 about the circumstances surrounding her broken engagement. Sherlyne explained that her ex-fiancé’s family, upon discovering details of her past through online searches, advised him against marrying her, causing the relationship to fall apart.
“The main thing that got me to say was that I was going to get married at one point. The family decided to google my name, and everything was about Xtian Dela and all the things I used to do as a 19-year-old. The Mzungu guy liked me a lot, but the family was like, ‘This is a red flag’, and advised their son not to marry me,” Sherlyne recounted during an interview.
