In a message posted on his social media accounts on Thursday, February 19, 2026, Mutua poured his heart out in a message that captured the depth of his appreciation for his wife.
The former Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO hailed Jane as an extraordinary pillar and the bedrock of their family.
“Join me in wishing my dear wife, Jane Mbagi Mutua, a very happy birthday! My dear, you are the bedrock of our family and an extraordinary pillar of strength,” he stated.
He acknowledged Jamne’s contribution towards his success, stating that she has been there every step of the way, supporting him through every challenge and celebrating success.
“As they say, behind every successful woman is a man clapping for her. I am here, literally cheering you on,” he added.
Mutua’s wishes for wife
Mutua leaned on his faith to wish his wife endless joy and God’s grace as she steps into another year of life writing:

Mutua and Jane have weathered several storms together, remaining grounded in their shared love and faith.
Mutua has also been supporting his wife and celebrating her wins, as was the case on December 14, 2025, when he shared good news on the launch of a book authored by Jane.
“My wife Jane Mbagi Mutua has written a book titled “It’s Monday,” and I have just been appointed the Chief Marketer! The book is an inspiring masterpiece designed to ignite your Mondays and power through the week. It’s a bouquet of inspirational thoughts to kickstart your week, but it also speaks to a positive attitude in the face of adversity and the power of a purpose-driven life,” he celebrated.
Boldly addressing issues
Known for his firm values anchored in his faith, a warm personality, and boldly sharing his take on a wide range of issues, Mutua is a popular figure across generations.
He recently penned a message of solidarity and support to city preacher, Reverend Lucy Natasha, who transitioned to online services due to financial challenges.
“I’ve seen some people mocking Rev. Lucy Natasha’s decision to shift her church from its physical location at Biashara Plaza to an online platform amid alleged financial struggles, viewing it as a sign of weakness,” Mutua wrote.
“In reality, this bold move exemplifies prudent leadership. Treat the church as any legal business entity with obligations like rent, staff salaries, and operations, and you’ll see it’s not immune to the harsh economic times hitting other organisations,” he added.
