‘Watu si wajinga’ – Oga Obinna firmly shuts down bestie-bestie advances from a fan

Taking to his official Instagram account on Saturday, March 21, 2026, Obinna shared a screenshot from his DM showing slide messages sent to him by a fan with an unusual proposal and expressing interest in finding a male bestie, specifically one without a girlfriend.
She went on to suggest a setup where she could visit him unannounced and even share a bed for cuddles, while promising to behave.
“Hello, Hello, can we be friends?” DM message from the lady shared by Obinna.
“Am looking for a male bestie mwanye hana dem mse naeza enda kwake unannounced, and we can share the same bed for cuddles. Can we? Promise I will behave.”
However, Obinna was quick to shut down the request, making it clear that he was not entertaining such an arrangement.
He specifically took issue with the idea of her visiting unannounced, stating that even his girlfriend cannot come to his place without informing him first.
Additionally, the father of five added that he currently has no intention of fathering another child, perhaps for another four years.
“Watu sio wajinga bwanaaa…hata dem yangu hawezi kuja kwangu UN- ANNOUNCED sasa wewe…. Staki mtoto mwengine immediately ngoja 4 years hivi hata yawa,” Obinna wrote.
Obinna on rejecting proposal
This is not the first time Obinna has rejected a proposal from a female fan.
Obinna shared screenshots of their conversation after the lady known as Shaline approached him.
The lady, who had earlier carried a placard in the streets of Kakamega confessing her love for Obinna and that she was ready to give him a set of twins, decided to contact him directly.
In the message, the lady first shared her photo carrying the placard and later introduced herself.
“Hello, good evening, I’m Shaline. The one on that postcard,” Shaline’s message reads.
However, Obinna, in his response, politely rejected her, stating that she is still young and that he prefers single mothers.
“Hi, saw the post. Much appreciated, but can’t work. You is a child. I prefer single mothers around 24 years, infinity 18 is too young,” Obinna said.
He went on and advised her to focus with her future first before thinking of love and children.
“Also, at 18, what are you doing thinking of children, focus, Shaline. You will think of me in 6 years when you will remember this text,” he added.
