Vera Sidika’s wig soaked during Songkran Festival in Thailand

Vera, who is currently vacationing in Thailand with close companion Tipsy Gee, shared her frustration and humour online after she was caught in the middle of the country’s massive water celebrations.
In her message, she revealed that she urgently needed a hairstylist in Bangkok for a frontal installation after her wig was completely soaked on the very first day of the festival.
“Guys, send help!!! Who does hair; frontal installations in Bangkok. Need one asap day 1 in Thailand I got splashed with water. (Songkran festival) and my wig melted off,” Vera Sidika stated.
The incident unfolded during Songkran, Thailand’s traditional New Year celebration, which is marked by nationwide water fights where streets transform into lively zones of splashing, drenching, and celebration.
The festival is rooted in cultural cleansing rituals but has evolved into one of the world’s biggest water-based street parties, attracting millions of tourists each year. Participants are often drenched within minutes of stepping outside, regardless of outfit, makeup, or preparation.
Vera and Tipsy Gee
Away from the water drama, attention has also followed Vera’s relationship status with Gen Z musician Tipsy Gee, who has been linked to her through several recent public appearances, including their joint attendance at high-profile events such as the Safari Rally in Naivasha and shared vacation moments along the Kenyan coast.
Both Vera and Tipsy Gee have publicly denied being in a romantic relationship. In previous statements, they dismissed the speculation as social media assumptions fueled by their outings and viral clips, insisting that they are not a couple despite ongoing public curiosity about their closeness.
Even so, their continued travel together and frequent shared appearances have kept fans talking, especially during the Thailand trip, where they have been spotted together.
