Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham gives birth to her first child

Actress and singer Kat Graham has welcomed her first child with husband Bryant Wood.
The 36-year-old shared the exciting news with fans in a post on her Instagram page on Friday, March 13, 2026, revealing that they had been blessed with a baby boy.
Alongside the announcement, Graham posted a series of tender photos showing her cradling the newborn in what appeared to be the baby’s nursery.
In the post, the couple also revealed the child’s name as Prospero “Spero” Nyemah Wood, warmly welcoming him into the world as they introduced him to their followers.
“Welcome to the world Prospero “Spero” Nyemah Wood,” Kat wrote.
The images showed Graham glowing as she held her son close, giving fans a glimpse of the quiet and intimate moment shortly after his arrival.
The couple’s announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities who flooded the comments section with well wishes for the new parents.
The birth of their son comes just months after the pair revealed they were expecting their first child together.

Back in December, Graham had announced the pregnancy through a series of black-and-white Polaroid photographs that showed her growing baby bump.
In the images, the actress appeared relaxed and joyful while posing alongside Wood.
At the time, she kept the caption simple, writing that they were expecting a baby while celebrating the milestone with their fans.
“We’re having a baby!!! ✨,” Kat wrote.
Graham and Wood’s journey into parenthood follows their marriage in 2023.
The couple initially chose to elope in a private ceremony attended only by their dogs as witnesses. Later, they held a second wedding ceremony surrounded by family and friends to celebrate their love more openly.
Vampire Diaries stint
Graham is best known globally for her role as Bonnie Bennett in the hit supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries.
Her portrayal of the powerful witch in the series earned her a loyal fan base and made her one of the most recognisable characters on the show throughout its eight-season run.
Beyond The Vampire Diaries, Graham has appeared in several films and television productions, including roles in projects such as All Eyez on Me and The Holiday Calendar. In addition to acting, she has pursued a successful music career, releasing multiple singles and studio projects that showcase her versatility as an artist.
Over the years, Graham has also built a reputation as a humanitarian and activist, using her platform to advocate for social justice and humanitarian causes. She has worked closely with organisations such as UNHCR, where she has served as a Goodwill Ambassador advocating for refugees around the world.
