TikToker Longole: Marion Naipei is the female version of Brian Chira
By Steve Ireri, May 17, 2026TikToker Loskul Longole has shared his views on social media personality Marion Naipei, saying she resembles the late TikToker Brian Chira in terms of online behaviour and viral fame patterns.
Speaking in a TikTok video on Saturday, May 16, 2026, Longole claimed that Marion often trends due to issues related to alcohol use and dramatic public moments, comparing her online journey to that of the late Brian Chira, who was widely discussed on TikTok before his passing.
He claimed that Marion has at times blamed alcohol for her actions during public appearances, referencing a similar pattern he says was also associated with Chira during his lifetime.
“Marion is like the female version of Brian Chira. She is trending every time because of alcohol, and she is becoming so dramatic, and every time she is sober, she will blame alcohol, the way she was blaming alcohol during Oga Obinna’s show. This is the same thing that Chira was doing, blaming alcohol for his actions,” Longole said.
Longole further advised Marion to be careful about the company she keeps, warning that surrounding oneself with the wrong people could lead to negative outcomes.
He encouraged the TikToker to turn her online popularity into a financial opportunity, citing global celebrity examples of individuals like Kim Kardashian who transformed viral fame into successful personal brands.
“And I would advise Marion, as a brother, to be keen and cautious of the people she surrounds herself with. Turn your fame into money the way Kim Kardashian did. Don’t care what you first went viral about; you can change your brand,” he said.

According to him, online fame should not be limited to past controversies, adding that creators have the ability to rebrand themselves and build sustainable income from their platforms.
Longole also noted that both Marion and the late Chira share similarities in how they attract widespread attention online, often becoming trending topics for extended periods on social media.
“First, look at the people you are with because you might end up badly by the way. And these people like Marion have the luck of trending, like they just blow up on the internet everywhere, just like Chira used to be a topic for weeks online. Marion should just try to make the best out of the luck she has,” he added.
Chira’s passing
The incident occurred around 4:00 am after Chira had spent the night at a local resort.
Witnesses and police reports indicate that he had been involved in a disturbance at the establishment and was escorted out by security.
A friend, Zeleck Momanyi Alfonso, encountered Chira outside and offered him a ride home on a motorcycle.
Upon arriving at the Gacharage roundabout, Chira alighted from the bike and attempted to cross the road on foot, where he was struck by a speeding white lorry that fled the scene.
The medical cause of death was later confirmed through an autopsy as multiple organ injuries and blunt force trauma to the head, consistent with a high-impact traffic accident.

His life was marked by significant personal challenges, including being orphaned at a young age and raised by his grandmother.
He gained national attention not only for his viral “It’s Chira, Brian Chira” catchphrase but also for his brave transparency regarding his HIV-positive status and his ongoing battles with depression and alcohol.
Chira’s funeral on March 26, 2024, became a major national event, drawing thousands of mourners to his grandmother’s home in Githunguri.
In a touching tribute to his unfinished education at Kabarak University, he was buried wearing a graduation gown at his grandmother’s request.
The “Chira Clan,” his dedicated TikTok fanbase, demonstrated an unprecedented level of support by raising over Ksh10 million in less than a week.
This fund was used to give him a dignified send-off and to fulfil his greatest wish: building a permanent, modern house for his grandmother to ensure her financial security.
