TikToker Elvis asks men to avoid night music concerts

TikToker Elvis Warutumo has urged men to shun attending nightclubs and music concerts for the safety of their pockets.

In a video he shared on TikTok on Thursday, March 5, 2026, Elvis regretted that it is men who lose big in night events while trying to impress women.

According to him, many men spend huge amounts of money in clubs and festivals without realising how quickly the expenses add up.

Elvis warns men attending club events

“I think men should stop attending most of these festivals and club events because of the amount of money you spend. Do the simple maths,” Elvis said.

Elvis explained that the spending begins even before one reaches the club.

“You shower, wear cologne, iron your clothes and take an Uber to there, and that means KSh800 is gone,” he stated.

Once inside the venue, the situation often becomes more expensive as men try to impress women.

“While you are there, you see a nice girl and decide to be a man. For sometime five of her friends appear from nowhere and you decide to be hospitable. You buy each KSh500 drink.

“That is KSh2500 on your bill while still trying to win a woman who is still on the phone,” he said.

Spending spiral

He added that the spending continues as the night progresses.

“At 10:00 pm, you ask the waiter to add another drink to each of them. At 2:00 am, your friends are asking for chicken. One chicken is KSh1500 each,” Elvis stated.

He claimed that in many cases, the people one is entertaining may end up leaving the club without any meaningful connection.

“After some minutes, they decide to go home, and the truth of the matter is that they want to go to another club to find another desperate man like you,” he said.

According to Elvis, a single night out can easily cost around KSh15,000 without any tangible benefit.

“In one night you spend KSh15000 on nothing when your parents are suffering,” he added.

He advised men to reconsider how they spend their time and money.

“It is even better to spend your time indoors watching a documentary,” Elvis said.
