Jirongo’s passing

Her tribute came as Kenya woke up to the news of Jirongo’s passing. Former Lugari Member of Parliament Cyrus Jirongo died on Saturday morning, December 13, 2025. His death marked the end of a long political and public life that had shaped many conversations in the country. For Huddah, the moment was personal, and her message reflected that personal loss rather than a political statement.
