Content creator Tatiana Karanja has opened up about her weight loss journey and her use of GLP (glucagon-like peptide-1) .

In an Instagram post on Friday, February 27, 2026, she said she decided to speak about it now.

“You’ve been asking, so let’s talk,” she said.

She further added, “I’ve been on my GLP journey, and I’m finally answering all your questions.”

Karanja said some people call it the easy way out. She does not agree with that view.

“I completely reject this,” she said.

She said she has carried and birthed children. Each time, she found her way back to being healthy and strong.

She said she is fit and proud of the work she has done.

“I am fit, and I am proud of the work I have put into my body over the years,” she said.

She added that her choice was never about not being able to work out.

Karanja then revealed that last year was very hard for her mental health.

“Last year I went through something really difficult mentally,” she said. She said she went to a dark place and could not pull herself out of it. “I needed help. That’s the truth,” she said.

The work behind the journey

She said her journey now is about building habits.

“Since starting this journey, I have been building real, sustainable habits,” she said.

The mother of three said she is going to the gym and eating well. She said she is staying active with her kids.

Karanja now says she is also sleeping better and taking care of her mental health. She said these changes are part of her daily life and that the work is steady and ongoing as she follows this path.

She insists her weight loss is not a shortcut.

“This has never been a shortcut,” she said. She said it is a full commitment to herself. She said the habits she is building matter for the long term.

She explained that the changes she is making are setting her up for long-term success.

“All of that is setting me up for long-term success,” she concluded.
