Stevo Simple Boy confirms he will perform at ‘Kwa Mbae’ boy’s homecoming visit
Rapper Stevo Simple Boy has confirmed that he will perform during an upcoming TikTokers-led fundraising event in support of the viral “Kwa Mbae” boy, whose real name is Musa Kihara.
Musa, a four-year-old from Ituntu village in Tharaka Nithi, went viral in April 2026 after a video showed him confidently giving directions to a boda boda rider using the landmark “Kwa Mbae.”
His calm authority and repeated mention of the phrase quickly turned the clip into a national social media trend, drawing widespread attention and support.
The upcoming event is scheduled for April 26, 2026, and will bring together TikTok creators, entertainers, and well-wishers who plan to visit the boy’s home before proceeding to a major fundraising drive at Kajiunduthi Stadium. The initiative aims to support Musa’s family, which has since faced a series of challenges that emerged after his sudden rise to fame.
Speaking ahead of the event in a video shared on TikTok on Friday, April 25, 2026, Stevo Simple Boy confirmed that he will be present and will perform live at the stadium.
He also indicated his excitement about being part of the initiative and said he will share a few lines in support of the boy even before the main event.
“On the 26th, when we will have the big fundraiser and when TikTokers will come to support Kwa Mbae boy, I will be there,” he said.

In addition to his confirmation, Stevo also presented the young boy with an art piece, symbolising his support for the family and the cause being championed by TikTokers.
“What did you say the name of the stadium is again? Yes, Kajiunduthi Stadium, I will be there. And let me perform some lines for him here even before that day,” he added.
Content creator Obidan Dela, who has been coordinating efforts around the fundraiser, also confirmed Stevo’s participation. He noted that the artist will be among the performers on the day, with gospel singer Ringtone Apoko expected to take the stage earlier in the lineup.
“And it’s true Stevo will come to perform for people at Kajiunduthi Stadium. And Stevo, you will perform after Ringtone, and we have a huge fundraiser there, and fans will also want to see you there,” Obidan said.
Obidan added that the event has attracted interest from across the country, calling on Kenyans from different regions, including Meru and Kisii, to attend in large numbers in support of Musa and his family.
He emphasised that the fundraiser is not only a performance event but also a collective effort to support the child’s welfare following his viral fame, which has drawn both public attention and concern for his family’s well-being.
“So the date is 26th. Meru people, Kisii people, all Kenyans, Stevo will be there to perform in support of ‘Kwa Mbae’ boy. Don’t miss,” he shared.
