Shiru Stuart elated after her kids commence shooting of YouTube movie with Betty Bayo’s kids

UK-based Kenyan content creator Shiru Stuart, who was part of the late gospel singer Betty Bayo’s inner circle, has shared an update after her children commenced the shooting of a YouTube movie together with the late singer’s children.
In the update shared on Facebook on Monday, January 5, 2026, Shiru revealed that the filming has been going on inside her house for close to two weeks and lamented how the children had transformed the house into something resembling a theatre.
“For the past few weeks, my house has been like an acting theatre for these kids,” she wrote.
Shiru then shared a teaser of the movie they are producing, describing it as very interesting.
She added that the movie would premiere on Betty Bayo’s daughter, Sky Victor’s, YouTube channel and encouraged fans to subscribe so they do not miss it.
“They’re creating something amazing that you’ll all enjoy watching! Keep subscribing to the Sky Victor 254 YouTube channel,” she wrote.
Behind-the-scenes teaser
While sharing the update, Shiru also posted a video showing the children during filming, revealing behind-the-scenes moments of them rehearsing lines and performing multiple takes before achieving the perfect shots.
From the lines they were reciting, the movie centres on a family divided over getting a dog as a pet, with parents and children presenting alternating views on why the pet is necessary.
In one scene, Shiru’s elder son, Maina, who takes on the role of a parent, is heard listing ways a dog would benefit the family and engaging in a debate with Betty’s son, Danny, who plays the child and presents reasons why a pet may not be required.
The acting continues to a scene where Betty’s daughter, Sky, intervenes, seemingly in the role of the mother, delivering her lines on whether a pet is necessary in a comedic manner.

Previously, K24 Digital broke the news that the UK-based Kenyan content creator returned to the UK on the evening of Saturday, November 29, 2025, after spending a week in Kenya attending the singer’s burial.
Shiru arrived in the UK accompanied by her children, whom she had brought to Kenya for the occasion.
Interestingly, Shiru returned clad in a hoodie emblazoned with Betty Bayo’s name and other details of her songs, prompting her fans to flood her social media with warm and supportive messages.
In a video she shared on TikTok on Sunday, November 30, 2025, Shiru is seen at a UK airport preparing to collect her luggage when she turns to reveal the inscriptions on her white hoodie.
The details included Betty’s name written in red at the bottom of the hoodie, while an additional message, ‘Forever in Our Hearts,’ was printed above it, encircled in a heart shape.
