Renowned gospel artist and philanthropist Karangu Muraya has opened up about the special bond he shares with his second wife, Carol Kim, describing her as the woman who healed his broken heart.
Karangu, who is celebrating his birthday today, has taken the occasion to gush about the special bond he shares with his second wife.
In a heartfelt message shared on Sunday, January 11, 2026, Karangu spoke about the kind of love that comes from two broken souls meeting, supporting, and healing each other.
He further praised Carol for her love, care, and endless kindness, saying that she treats him the way he always deserved to be treated.
“The kind of love when two broken souls meet.. They heal each other’s damaged hearts. Give them their entire self and treat each other how they always should have been treated,” Karangu said.
“During this special day of my life… help me appreciate this wonderful woman … My Carol … Thank you, darling, for your love, your care and your endless kindness.”
Karangu’s matrimonial drama
For the better part of 2025, Karangu and his first wife, Triza Njeri, were embroiled in a public marital dispute involving Karangu’s second wife, Carol Kim.
On the night of February 14, 2025, TikTok users were treated to drama after Triza went live alongside her friend Essy, publicly accusing Karangu of neglect and expressing frustration over his relationship with his second wife, Carol Kim.
Triza, during the live session, asserted that Karangu had been ignoring her and giving more importance to his second wife. But following a contentious back and forth, Karangu apologised, expressed deep regret and pleaded with Triza to return to their matrimonial home for the sake of their family.
However, what was meant to be an online exposé calling out Karangu for neglecting his first wife quickly spiralled into endless drama. Since that February night, things have not been the same.
