‘Sasa DM zipungue’ – Millicent Omanga says as she flaunts her husband
Former nominated senator Millicent Omanga has sought to silence men trying their luck in her inbox by flaunting her husband.
The politician admitted that people have been messaging her enquiring about her status, noting that her actions will now see the messages reduce.
She celebrated the support of her man in a statement on X on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, noting that behind every successful woman is a man, and hers happens to be a doctor.
“Behind every successful woman kuna mwanaume… na wangu ni Daktari. Sasa DM za ‘uko single?’ na ‘ulifanikiwa aje?’ zipungue kidogo,” Omanga stated.

By virtue of her status as a prominent politician, Omanga’s life, including her family, continues to attract interest, with her political ambitions fuelling the same.
Stir at DCP headquarters
She recently dumped President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) for Rigathi Gachagua’s Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP).
Her arrival at the DCP headquarters caused a stir as she engaged in an energetic dance.
Dressed in party colours, Omanga, who is eyeing the Nairobi Woman Representative position, joined party supporters in song and dance.
With music booming in the background, she took to the dance floor shortly after her arrival, with supporters donning green outfits bearing her name engaging her in what appeared to be a dance challenge.
Political ambitions
Omanga’s political ambitions have set the stage for an epic clash at the ballot with notable names eyeing the same position.
She has aligned herself with the Linda Mwananchi movement led by firebrand politicians, including Edwin Sifuna and Babu Owino.

“Many people have been asking what my plan is for 2027. I will be on the ballot for the Nairobi Woman Representative position. I will be with my people. I hear you, and we are together in this,” she stated on Friday, February 6, 2026.
Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, who attended President William Ruto’s meeting with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) aspirants at State House, is among those in the race.
Others lining up with the hope of succeeding incumbent Esther Passaris are activist Hanifa Adan, social media personality Corazon Kwamboka and blogger Maverick Aoko, who have declared interest in the seat.
