Regina wa Anganiwe leaves hospital days after Ben Githae called on fans to pray for her
By Steve Ireri, January 1, 2026Gospel singer Regina wa Anganiwe has confirmed that she is now out of hospital, expressing deep gratitude to everyone who supported her during her time at Avenue Hospital in Parklands.
In a message shared on Facebook on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, Regina thanked friends, family, leaders, and well-wishers for their prayers, visits, calls, and words of encouragement, saying their support gave her strength and hope during a challenging time.
“I would like to sincerely thank everyone who stood with me during my time in the hospital. Your prayers, visits, calls, and words of encouragement gave me strength and hope when I needed it most,” she wrote.
She specifically acknowledged the Deputy President, Kithure Kindiki, for his concern, support, and kindness, noting that his compassion meant a great deal to her and her family.
Regina described the support she received as invaluable, expressing her gratitude from the bottom of her heart and praying that God blesses everyone who stood by her abundantly.
“I am deeply grateful to His Excellency, the Deputy President of Kenya, Prof Kithure Kindiki, for his concern, support, and kindness. Your compassion truly meant a lot to me and my family. To all friends, relatives, leaders, and well-wishers who walked with me during this difficult moment, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you all abundantly,” she added.

Plea for prayers
In a Facebook post on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Githae shared that Regina was responding very well to treatment and asked everyone to keep her in their prayers.

“Our friend Regina is responding very well to treatment at Avenue Hospital! Let’s all continue praying for her,” Githae wrote.
Regina’s message
At the time, Regina expressed deep gratitude to the friends who supported her during the difficult time.
She described friends as angels who lift each other up when life becomes challenging and noted that she hopes everyone will always have access to such friends in times of need.
“Friends are angels who lift us up when our wings forget how to ✈ fly. These kinds of friends, I pray that God never denies you access to them when you are in a situation like mine,” Regina wrote.
She highlighted the support she received from Githae, Pastor Ann, and their mutual friend Wacheke, drawing a comparison to the biblical story of the three wise men visiting Abraham and Sarah.
“Starting with Ben Githae and pastor Ann and our friend Wacheke, you have done just like what the 3 wise men did when God sent them to visit Abraham and Sarah,” Anganiwe shared.
She also reflected on the sacrifices friends make to ensure others are remembered, likening it to the story of King Xerxes, who could not sleep until Mordecai was remembered.
Regina said she has learned that God can send someone to endure sleeplessness so that others can be remembered, and she prayed that those who helped her would themselves be remembered.
“And this is what I say to you for coming to my aid: that in the same way the king lacked sleep so Mordecai could be remembered, I have learnt that God can also send someone and they even endure lack of sleep, so you can be remembered. And in that same way, I say and pray that you be remembered also in Jesus’ mighty name,” Regina added.
