Purity Kendi: Viral Meru mama mboga becomes homeowner after well-wisher builds her bungalow

Meru mama mboga Purity Kendi, who went viral earlier last month after her private videos were leaked online, is now counting her blessings after a popular real estate company fulfilled its promise to build her a modern bungalow.
The house, which had been under construction for more than two months, was officially completed on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
It was unveiled during a lavish house-warming ceremony attended by Purity, staff from the real estate company, and members of the public who had followed her story after she was exposed online.
In a video shared on Facebook by YouTuber Kururia, Purity appeared emotional as she received the keys to her new home and expressed gratitude for the support she received.
She said that she first thanked God, noting that He had brought her from Meru to Nairobi and had guided her through everything she was going through.
“First and foremost, I thank God because He is the one who brought me from Meru and brought me here to Nairobi, and I thank Him so much,” she said.

She expressed deep appreciation to the well-wisher who stepped in to help her after her videos went viral, explaining that he first gave her a plot of land before eventually building a house for her.
Purity added that she is now a proud homeowner, something many people doubted would happen, as some believed the promised gift would never materialise. She said she was happy that everything had finally come to pass.
“I also thank the well-wisher for what he has done for me. After my videos went viral, he gave me a plot of land and later built a house for me. Today, I have received the house, and now I am a homeowner,” Purity said.
She also described the area where the house is built as neat and well-developed, saying she was pleased with the environment.
“People thought I would not receive the house gift, but now it has come to pass. The place where the house is built is very neat and well developed,” she said.
Additionally, she recalled how the well-wisher had encouraged her not to cry after her videos went viral and reassured her that he would help her, something she said brought her comfort and contributed to her current happiness.
“I remember the well-wisher told me he would help me after my videos went viral. He asked me not to cry, and that is why I am so happy,” Purity added.
