Prezzo recounts frightening seizure episode during Bahati’s event
By Valerian Khakayi, February 24, 2026Veteran rapper and entrepreneur Jackson Ngechu Makini, famously known as CMB Prezzo, has opened up about a frightening seizure he experienced during the launch of the Bahati Empire Reality TV Show.
Speaking during a candid conversation with the Iko Nini podcast in an episode aired on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Prezzo said he was unaware that he had suffered a seizure.
He added that he was doing an interview when I suddenly collapsed.
“I did not know I had a seizure; thank God for that.Nilikuwa nafanya interview alafu nikaanguka. I was fighting for my life,” Prezzo recounted.
When he regained consciousness, Prezzo says he saw comedian and digital content creator 2Mbili next to him, handing him his watch and smartphone.
He added that he later realised how quickly 2Mbili had helped him during the incident.
The rapper, in addition, noted that, during the seizure, 2Mbili protected his privacy by covering him with a banner while preventing the crowd from recording the incident.
“I saw 2mbili next to me, na akanipatia watch yangu na simu, nikasema, ‘2mbili alikuwa anafanya nini na watch yangu?alafu nikawaambia wanipeleke kwa kiti asichelewe kwa show ya Bahati,” he added.
“Wakati nilikuwa kwa hiyo seizure, kulikuwa na banners mbele yetu, 2mbili alikuwa anakataza watu kurecord then akachukua ile banner akanifunika ndio watu wasirecord and I think in that process akatoa saa yangu na simu.“
How he found out
Prezzo revealed that he only realised the severity of the situation afterwards.
“When I sat there, watu walikuwa wanaangalia na huzuni na huruma, then kwa kona ya mdomo yangu ilikuwa inauma, i think when I had the seizure nilijiuma,” he revealed.
“It did not add up to me hadi Riggy G akani ackwolege kama mara tatu, so after the whole this was done, so nikitoka this lady approaches me akaniuliza kama nko sawa nikasema am okay wapili pia akaja. nikajiuliza kwani the love for prezzo today is overwhelming,

He added that some people at the event were seeking content for social media.
“People felt nothing; wengine walikuwa wanatafuta content with that,” he added.
Creating awareness
Additionally, he said that he is using the experience to raise awareness.
