Pastor Kanyari opens up about inner struggles in reflective Facebook post
By Steve Ireri, December 14, 2025Salvation Healing Ministries founder Pastor Victor Kanyari has opened up about his inner struggles in a deeply reflective message shared on his Facebook page.
In the post shared on the morning of Saturday, December 14, 2025, the self-styled spiritual healer acknowledged that he was going through an emotionally heavy moment, admitting that he did not have all the answers and did not feel as strong as he would have wished.
“This morning, my heart feels heavy, but my faith is still breathing. I don’t have all the answers, and I don’t feel as strong as I wish I did,” Kanyari wrote.
Despite this, he maintained that his faith remained alive, stressing that his continued ability to wake up each day was, in his belief, a sign that God was not finished with him.
“Still, I believe God wouldn’t wake me up if He wasn’t done with me yet,” Kanyari added.
Kanyari, who recently lost his ex-wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo, then extended his thoughts beyond his own situation to address people who may be quietly dealing with pain and hardship.
He reminded his followers that unseen struggles still matter, encouraging those carrying silent burdens to take comfort in the belief that their tears and prayers do not go unnoticed.
“God wouldn’t wake me up if He wasn’t done with me yet. If you’re reading this and carrying silent pain, know that your tears are seen,” he wrote.

The pastor emphasised that moments of weakness do not signify abandonment or failure, but rather form part of a broader spiritual journey in which divine intervention may still be unfolding, even when it is not immediately visible.
He urged readers to keep moving forward, reassuring them that grace, in his view, meets people in the midst of their struggles rather than after they have overcome them.
“Your prayers are heard, and even on the days you feel weak, God is still working. Keep going. Grace is meeting us right where we are,” he added.
Online scrutiny
The post comes just days after he opened up on being judged online following the passing of his ex-wife, saying he had been watching people assume and rewrite stories about his life and pain.

He noted that some claims perpetrated about him were true, many false, and others crafted purely to provoke social media reactions.
“I am a father before I am anything else,” Kanyari posted on Facebook, grounding his message in responsibility rather than controversy.
