Nyamari Ongegu, popularly known as Nyashinski, has reflected on the success of The Showman Residency, calling the experience a dream come true.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, he shared an emotional message after the event, expressing gratitude for the journey and the people who made it possible. He described the production as one of the most special moments in his career.

He explained that life and success should be appreciated as blessings. He said every moment of achievement is proof of something greater at work. He added that he felt deeply grateful after the completion of the show.

“Every breath is proof of God’s existence, love and kindness,” Nyashinski said.

He went on to reflect on his earlier experience with Shin City. He said he felt on a high after that project and believed it would be hard to surpass. He added that the new residency surprised him by going even further in creativity and execution.

“I remember being on cloud 9 immediately after Shin City. We swore nothing would surpass it, until we experienced The Showman Residency,” Nyashinski said.

The making of a unique experience

Nyashinski explained that The Showman Residency was a special production that brought together different creative elements. He said it stood out because of the teamwork and effort behind it. He added that it was a first-of-its-kind experience for him.

He also credited the people who supported the project from the beginning to the end. He said the success was not his alone but a shared effort. He added that a strong community played a big role in making it happen.

“A first-of-its-kind work of art, fusing so many different elements, made possible by YOU and our big beautiful family, The Village,” Nyashinski said.

He encouraged people not to feel sad that the show had ended. He said it is better to appreciate the experience and look forward to future opportunities. He added that hope should remain for more achievements ahead.

“Do not be sad that it’s over, be happy that it happened and hopeful for more amazing things in the future, God willing,” Nyashinski said.

Nyashinski also took time to appreciate everyone involved in the project. He mentioned the team, volunteers, partners, and supporters who contributed in different ways. He said even those who could not attend physically still played a role through their support.
