Nyako sends message to Passaris as she unveils plans to run for Nairobi Woman Rep seat
By Steve Ireri, December 28, 2025Germany-based Kenyan TikToker Nyako has sent a blunt message to Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris as she unveiled ambitious plans to dethrone her in the next General Election.
Speaking during a TikTok Live on Saturday, December 27, 2025, Nyako openly declared her intention to vie for the Nairobi Woman Representative position, positioning herself as a serious political challenger rather than a casual online commentator.
She shaded the current leadership and argued that Nairobi deserved a more active and visible Woman Representative who delivers measurable results on the ground.
“I am the next Woman Representative of Kenya. Who is the current Woman Rep? Let us get serious. Please, guys, let me know who the current Woman Rep in Nairobi is,” Nyako said.
The self-proclaimed TikTok president identified Passaris as the incumbent and stated that the sitting Woman Representative should begin preparing to vacate the seat, insisting that a new wave of leadership was ready to take over.
She maintained that her political push was not symbolic, but part of a deliberate effort by social media creators to enter elective politics with purpose and resolve.
“Who is she? So I see it is Esther Passaris. Tell her that I need her to start packing her belongings. Tell her that I have asked her to start planning her exit because we are coming,” she said.

The TikToker emphasised that online influencers were no longer content with merely discussing politics from the sidelines, saying they were organised, determined and prepared to challenge long-standing political figures.
She framed her remarks as a call for accountability, arguing that leadership positions should be held by individuals who can clearly demonstrate impact and productivity.
“Us TikTokers, we are not laughing this round, and we are not begging. Let her know that she will leave that seat for us by fire,” she said.
Nyako further criticised what she described as a lack of visible work in the Woman Representative’s office, saying Nairobi residents deserved a leader who would actively engage communities and fight for women’s issues with consistency and urgency.
She stressed that her movement was not about personal fame, but about securing a functional and effective office for the people of Nairobi.
“We need a working office. We do not need someone sitting on such a seat without any visible work,” she added.
