Nurse Judy reveals she sets aside up to Ksh260K yearly to help those in need
By Paulette Mboga, May 8, 2026Nurse Judy has revealed that she sets aside between $1000 and $2000, about Ksh130,000 to Ksh260,000, every year to help people in need.
The health worker said the decision came from her difficult childhood and the struggles she faced while growing up on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
She explained that life was not easy during her younger years, and even staying in school felt impossible at times. According to her, those experiences pushed her to make helping others part of her yearly plans.
“As a person who grew up lacking so much, where even going through school felt like a miracle, I made it a personal goal that every year I must intentionally give back in some way,” Nurse Judy said.

The content creator shared that she normally keeps aside money yearly to support people facing serious challenges. She explained that the support goes to individuals or situations that truly need help.
“Usually, I set aside around 1000-2000 USD yearly to help people or situations genuinely in need,” she explained.
Acts of support this year
Nurse Judy also revealed some of the people she has already supported this year. She said one of the biggest things she did was pay full school fees for a child with special needs.
“At the beginning of this year, I paid a full year’s school fees for a special needs child in a special school and also sent money to the parents to buy all the required supplies needed for the child,” she said.

She also spoke about helping a relative continue with studies after struggling with a fee balance. Nurse Judy explained that education remains important to her because of the challenges she faced while growing up.
“I also helped my cousin in KMTC clear a fee balance of 70,000 KSh,” Nurse Judy said.
The health worker further announced another plan she has during Nurses Week. She stated that she wants to help one nursing student clear school fee arrears directly through the institution.
“And this Nurses Week, I’ve decided I will pay Ksh30,000 directly to school for one lucky nursing student in need of fee balance clearance,” she added.
She maintained that helping others has become a personal commitment because she understands the pain of struggling without enough support.
