Nurse Judy explains why working with male colleagues makes nursing life easier
Nurse Judy has highlighted why working with male nurses makes nursing life easier.
The nurse addressed recent comments suggesting her advice was only for female nurses, clarifying that her messages apply to all nurses.
“Okay, why does this one wanna piss me off. Where and when exactly did my content suggest it’s for female nurses only?” she said on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
She explained that when she talks about nursing challenges, it is meant for every nurse, regardless of gender.

“When I come on here and plug stuff about nursing or talk about nursing in general, did I ever specify that it’s only applicable to FEMALE NURSES? When I talk about the challenges in nursing, it applies to every nurse, not just to female nurses. What is this one talking about? Maybe I’m the one who didn’t comprehend his message well??” Nurse Judy said.
Male nurses bring balance
Nurse Judy praised male nurses for creating a positive work environment. She said male nurses make the best team, offering less gossip and less toxicity in the workplace.
“And yes, I have mentioned not once or twice, how cool it is working with male nurses, they make the best team, less gossip, less toxicity, plenty of support!” she said.
She added that having a male nurse in charge also makes a big difference in the hospital setting.

“I love when the charge is a male nurse, too,” Nurse Judy said.
According to Nurse Judy, male nurses contribute to a smoother and more professional work environment. Their presence helps reduce conflicts and creates a team that focuses on patient care rather than workplace drama.
Nurse Judy’s message is that nursing is for everyone, and male nurses bring balance, support, and professionalism to the workplace. She highlights how their presence can make long shifts smoother and reduce unnecessary drama, making life easier for the whole team.
