Nurse Judy has spoken out about internet trolls and the projections that often come from online comments.

On Friday, December 5, 2025, she shared that she had spent 2 hours replying to comments online, which was fun but also frustrating because some users think they know her better than she knows herself.

She said, “Hakuna watu wanadhaniaga wanakujua zaidi ya vile unajijua kama kwa internet, and that’s why the other day I said, internet has the most stupid creatures projecting right left & centre.”

The discussion started after Judy posted a video of herself and her husband while reminiscing. One fan commented that she would one day look back at the videos and laugh at herself. Judy responded confidently, showing her self-assurance and positive outlook on life.

She said, “This is Nurse Judy. I’m built differently. I don’t fear what could go wrong, because what about everything that could go RIGHT? And in the scenario things go left, I dust myself and walk like the queen mother I am. I’m a woman who always lands on her feet. I don’t panic about life’s outcomes.”

Her response reflected her strong personality and determination not to be affected by negativity online.

Setting aside time

Today, Judy explained that she had set aside time to reply to the comments herself. She mentioned that she lives in the US while her family is in Tanzania, which sometimes makes staying connected challenging. Despite the distance, she took the opportunity to engage with people and clarify her thoughts, noting that online projections often do not reflect reality.

Judy’s approach to dealing with internet criticism shows a mix of humour, confidence, and self-respect. She openly acknowledges that some people will project their ideas or judgments online, but she focuses on what can go right rather than what could go wrong.

Her remarks encourage people to maintain perspective and confidence in themselves even when facing online negativity. It is safe to say that Nurse Judy’s message resonates with people who face online judgment, showing that it is possible to stay grounded while engaging with social media.
