The digital content creator addressed claims about a possible BBL and made it clear she is in control of her own choices. She explained that she is comfortable with herself and does not feel the need to explain her decisions to anyone.
“And honestly, who can’t tell that’s a towel/clothe? Otherwise, nikitaka hata kuweka mkia nitaweka,” Lydia Wanjiru said on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
She explained that people often make quick judgments without knowing the truth. Lydia said she is focused on herself and what makes her happy, not outside opinions. She added that personal choices about appearance should be respected and not questioned.

“I’ll change anything and everything that’s within my reach and desire,” she said.
Lydia went on to say that her mindset has helped her stay grounded. She explained that being centred on herself has allowed her to ignore negativity and focus on her goals. According to her, self-confidence comes from within and not from public approval.
“And I looooove that my mind and heart are so centred on myself,” she said.
Her advice on cosmetic surgery preparation
This comes after Lydia Wanjiru shared a practical tip for anyone planning to undergo cosmetic surgery. She explained that proper preparation before a procedure can make a big difference in comfort and recovery. Lydia used her platform to give simple advice based on her own understanding.

In a video shared on her official Instagram account on Monday, April 13, 2026, she recommended waxing before surgery. She explained that this step is often overlooked but can help reduce discomfort. According to Lydia, small preparations can make the process easier.
“Let me let you in on a secret, kama unaplan kuenda hizi surgeries, make sure you wax at least a few days, let me say like three days before your procedure,” she advised.
She explained that waxing at least three days before surgery gives the skin enough time to settle. Lydia said this reduces irritation during the procedure and also helps during recovery. She added that planning is important for better results.
