Nana Owiti delighted after meeting FIFA President Gianni Infantino

Digital content creator and influencer Nana Owiti has shared her excitement after meeting FIFA President Gianni Infantino during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) closing dinner held at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Club.
Taking to her Instagram account on Sunday, January 18, 2026, Nana shared a video while interacting with Infantino during the ceremony.
Nana also revealed that she was invited to the exclusive event in recognition of her work with Destination2Morocco. She described the evening as unforgettable, saying she interacted with exceptional people and found herself in what she called an unreal room filled with greatness.
According to Nana, she not only met the FIFA president but also had a light-hearted chat with him.
In addition, the football fanatic said they joked, and the FIFA boss even told her she was funny and the best, an experience she described as surreal. During their interaction, Nana proudly marketed Kenya, saying she made sure to represent her country on the global stage.

”Last night I was invited to the CAF CLUB for the AFCON closing dinner thanks to the exemplary work I did with @destination2morocco. Long story short I had great interactions with exceptional people,” Nana said.
“I can’t believe I not only met the FIFA PRESIDENT,Gianni Infatino. We had a chat, joked (he said I was funny and said I was the BEST ), and I made sure to market my country. Hanging it in the Louvre!”
Meeting Motsepe
Apart from Infantino, Nana also disclosed that she met CAF President Patrice Motsepe, whom she boldly pitched to host the next Africa Cup of Nations in East Africa, specifically Kenya.
The mother of two described the brief but impactful exchange as three legendary minutes.

Sharing behind-the-scenes moments, she joked about a clip showing a young man eager to speak to the president but being met with a ”wait your turn” look, as the leaders were engaged in a serious conversation.
Overwhelmed by the experience, Nana expressed gratitude, calling the night a powerful reminder of God’s grace and describing the moment as nothing short of amazing.
“Then I met the CAF president Patrice Motsepe and pitched why the next AFCON belongs in East Africa..Kenya to be exact. Three legendary minutes. Unreal room. Pure greatness,”she disclosed.
