My one and only: Pastor Kanyari surprises Marion Naipei with flower bouquet

The preacher was headlining his Sunday, February 15, 2026, service when he instructed one of his ushers to bring the flowers to the pulpit on his behalf.
At that moment, he called Marion Naipei, who was seated in the front row alongside other church officials, including Brian Chira’s grandmother, Esther Njeri, to join him on the altar.
Before presenting her with the flowers, Pastor Kanyari took time to speak sweetly about Marion, referring to her as his “one and only” and lavishing her with praise.
“And today I have a present for my one and only Marion Naipei,” he said. The gesture left congregants cheering loudly and jumping with joy.
Marion expressed her delight over the preacher’s move and is seen smelling the flowers and dancing at the altar, while congregants continued clapping in celebration.

On the same occasion, Marion was spotted dancing on stage before the service officially began.
She was clad in a neat brown dress, similar to the attire worn by all members of the praise and worship team lined up at the front, suggesting that she may have officially risen to a position within the church.
In a Facebook Live broadcast on Kanyari’s church page, Marion is seen holding a microphone and taking turns leading other church members in songs and dances, demonstrating her active role in the service.
The headliner of the praise and worship service was none other than Nyawira wa Kamotho, who has been trending on TikTok after responding to claims that her position in the church had been taken over by Marion.

In a similar development, the self-proclaimed prophet unveiled plans to ordain Marion Naipei as a pastor at his church.
Speaking during an interview with local YouTubers on Friday, January 29, 2026, Kanyari said the ordination will happen soon, noting that Naipei will also be preaching at the church.
He added that she will be part of the pastoral team at his church and even described her as his pastor.
“Very soon, Marion atakuwa our pastor hapa, nitam ordain hapa na akuwe pastor atakuwa anatuhubiria hapa hata mimi atakuwa pastor wangu,” Kanyari revealed.
Kanyari explained that his decision to support Naipei was driven by concern for her following the backlash she faced online after the scandal.
He added that he felt it would be wrong to abandon her during a difficult moment.
The preacher said he ensured Naipei joined his church as a way of offering support and guidance during the challenging period.
“Marion ni rafiki yangu na siwezi taka kuona mtu akiteseka katika nchi ya Kenya, niliona watu wakipiga Marion sana na wakati niliona anapigwa, nikajua kwamba nishawai pitia katika scandal na nikajua nikimwacha Marion hivi na akose mtu wa kusimama na yeye na kumsaidia itakuwa vibaya,” he added.
