Content creator Murugi Munyi has said women often overlook red flags even when men show them early in relationships.

On Saturday, April 4, 2026, she explained that many men reveal their true character from the beginning, but women sometimes ignore the signs. She said this happens because of doubt and the need to keep looking for more proof.

She said these signs may appear in simple situations like conversations or reactions, adding that these early actions should not be dismissed.

“Men don’t get enough credit for showing us who they are the first time,” Murugi Munyi said.

She said many women notice these signs but choose to question themselves instead.

“And I was like, yeah, a lot of times men will… early on, very early on,” she said.

Actions show character

Murugi Munyi said early behaviour often gives clear signals about a person. She explained that small actions, like how someone reacts in certain situations, can show their true character. She added that these moments should be taken seriously.

“You will be able to see exactly, like oh, and you feel something in your mind that he hesitated a bit when the bill came,” Murugi Munyi said.

She said reactions to serious situations can also reveal a lot. She explained that how someone responds to harmful or sensitive issues should not be ignored. She added that these are clear warning signs.

“Or oh, we said something, and he laughed when that woman was slapped, and you have seen it,” she said.

Murugi Munyi said men often cannot hide their true behaviour for long. She explained that pretending takes effort and is difficult to maintain over time. She added that this is why early signs are usually accurate.

“Men can rarely ever, like, fully own pretend for a long time,” Murugi Munyi said.

She said the main challenge comes when women doubt what they see. She explained that many start questioning their own judgment instead of trusting it. She added that this leads to ignoring important warning signs.

“And we see it, and because we gaslight ourselves into like mhmm, have I seen that? No, I need more evidence, more evidence,” she said.

“But no, men will often show you exactly who they are very early on,” Murugi Munyi said.
