MobLand Season 2 review: A dangerous battle for power returns to London

The series combines crime, drama and thriller elements, with much of the story centred on loyalty, family power and the dangerous world of organised crime.
The second season is set to premiere on September 18, 2026, with 10 episodes being released weekly.
At the centre of the story is Harry Da Souza, a fixer who works for the Harrigan family. His job is to solve difficult problems before they become bigger threats. Harry is not simply a gangster looking for power. He is the person the family calls when something has gone wrong, making him one of the most important people in their dangerous world.
The Harrigan family returns
The Harrigans remain at the heart of MobLand. Conrad Harrigan is the head of the family and one of the main people fighting to protect its criminal empire.
Beside him is Maeve Harrigan, a strong figure within the family who is not afraid to get involved in decisions that could change its future.
Their family problems are almost as complicated as their criminal business. Kevin Harrigan is one of Conrad’s sons, while Brendan Harrigan is another. Kevin’s wife, Bella Harrigan, also finds herself connected to the family’s dangerous dealings.
Then there is Seraphina Harrigan, Conrad’s daughter, whose intelligence and confidence make her stand out within the family. Her position creates another layer of tension because the Harrigans are not always united, even when they face a common enemy.
A new fight for control
The second season picks up after the events of the first season, with the Harrigans facing fresh pressure as rival forces threaten their position.
The Stevenson family remains one of the major threats. Both sides want greater control, but the real danger comes from the fact that trust is already weak within the Harrigan family.
This makes Harry’s position even more difficult. He has to move between different members of the family while trying to keep situations from turning into open conflict.
The official description of the new season suggests that the Harrigans will struggle to present a united front as their criminal empire comes under pressure.
What makes the series interesting
The characters may be working together, but they do not always want the same thing. A decision made to protect one person can easily put another in danger.
The series also keeps Harry Da Souza in an interesting position. He understands how the criminal world works, but being the person who fixes other people’s problems means he is constantly placed in difficult situations.
MobLand Season 2 looks set to continue the tense crime story established in its first season, with the Harrigans facing new threats while struggling with problems within their own family.
