Mosiria revisits heartwarming moment he saved Goliath wa Bungoma from despair

Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has revisited how he altered the course of Isaac Otesa, popularly known as Goliath wa Bungoma’s life when he was on the verge of despair.
Mosiria shared a heartwarming video of Goliath detailing how he came through after media personality Oga Obinna advised him to go back to Bungoma, stating that he would not make it in Nairobi.
Mosiria captioned the video shared on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, with the words: “This is how I rescued this man, and he is very grateful!”
In the video, Goliath detailed that Obinna invited him to an interview in which he asked him questions before advising him to go home, claiming that he would not make it in the city.
Mosiria’s intervention
Despite the words that sank his spirit, Goliath wished Obinna well and prayed for his success while sharing how he has achieved what the media personality never believed he could.
Goliath admitted that he was dejected and planned to go home as advised by Obinna, but did not have money for transport back to Bungoma.
He recounted being stranded at Afya Centre, where he recorded a video which went viral and caught the attention of Mosiria.
According to the social media personality, Mosiria reached out when he was at Afya Centre and requested a meeting that changed the course of his life.
Meeting that changed the course of Goliath’s life
The meeting with Mosiria turned out to be a turning point for Goliath as the former organised his accommodation and supported him at a time when he was struggling and on the verge of giving up on his dreams of making it in the city.
Mosiria returned the following day and took him to seek help, linking him up with his first gig with a betting company.
Goliath spoke blessings upon the head of the customer care department in Nairobi County, appreciating how his intervention set him up for success.
He also appreciated all the people who had stood with him through his ordeal, mentioning each of them by name and the support he received.
Noting that his experience is a miracle, Goliath noted that his life has improved as he nw sleeps on a comfortable bed, with a mattress that does not need him to bend to size.
He also celebrated his blessing of moving from a bedsitter to a one-bedroom house, expressing hope that greater things lie ahead.
