Mosiria offers to sponsor Mbavu Destroyer with one month of boxing training ahead of Majembe fight
Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has announced a sponsorship offer to support popular street fighter Mbavu Destroyer with a one-month professional boxing training programme ahead of his anticipated bout against Majembe.
In a statement on Saturday, February 7, 2026, Mosiria said he is urgently seeking the Mbavu Destroyer to facilitate a structured training camp that includes access to a gym and a qualified boxing coach.
He noted that the goal is to equip the fighter with proper boxing techniques to ensure he is well prepared for the upcoming match.
“I am urgently looking for Mbavu Destroyer, a.k.a. Weka Mawe, so I can sponsor a one-month professional boxing training programme, including a gym and coach, ahead of his match against Majembe,” Mosiria said.
He emphasised that boxing is a technical sport that requires skill and preparation, adding that the training would help Mbavu Destroyer avoid being outmatched in the ring.
“Ndio Majembe asimchimbe amumalize jameni. Anyone close to him amwambie namtafuta. Unajua, boxing ni skill,” he announced.
