Radio host Mkamburi Chigogo has reacted to content creator Lydia Wanjiru’s second BBL procedure, sharing her thoughts in a light and humorous tone.

She spoke about the growing trend of repeated cosmetic procedures and how people keep going back for more.

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, she explained that she was observing the pattern and not judging anyone. She said such decisions often come from personal feelings about appearance.

“Huyu dame anaitwa Lydia Wanjiru, unamjua? Yule alienda akafanya BBL, sasa saa hii alienda akakatwa mkono sasa,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.

She went on to explain that, from what she can see, such procedures can become ongoing. She said once someone starts, they may feel the need to keep adjusting different parts of the body.

Halafu unajua, mimi from what I am guessing, surgeries, hukua kama tattoo, umeanza hii ya kwanza, halafu, ukijiangalia, unasema ah, kuna kitu bado hakija kaa sawa,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.

She added that the process may not stop at one procedure. She explained that people may keep finding new areas they want to change.

“Wacha niendee nyingine,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.

Thoughts on cosmetic procedures

Mkamburi Chigogo explained that after one procedure, the focus may shift to another body part. She said this cycle can continue as someone keeps checking themselves and wanting more changes.

“Unaenda tena unapunguzwa mkono, mkono ikabanwa. Atarudi tena,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.

She added that over time, a person may begin to focus on even smaller details. She said it becomes a gradual process of constant adjustments.

“Kidogo kidogo atajicheki, unaenda unafanya…a few seconds later wewe wewe tu, ah kiuno changu, nataka kiwe kidogo kama cha mtoto,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.

She explained that despite her observations, such choices depend on the individual. She said people do these things for their own reasons.

“It is one of those things,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.

She added that for some, these procedures help boost confidence and explained that if it improves how someone feels about themselves, then it can be understandable.

“Ambayo saturation level. Kama inaku boostia self esteem, na inakufanya ujihizi vizuri, why not?” Mkamburi Chigogo said.
