Miracle Baby shifts his attention to music after Carol Katrue left him
Popular Mugithi singer Peter Mwangi, also known as Miracle Baby, has announced that he is turning his full focus to music following the end of his relationship with his wife, Carol Katrue.
The two announced their breakup after years together and two children.
In a statement on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, Miracle Baby indicated that music will now be his primary outlet as he navigates a new chapter in his personal life.
“Dear mic, I know you love me, and I love you too. Let’s do this. From today, the microphone will be my only friend that I will be sharing my moments with,” Miracle Baby stated.

This comes a few months after the couple announced the arrival of their second child, a beautiful baby girl named Janevior Waithera Mwangi.
Taking to their respective social media channels, the couple shared the good news.
“Welcome to the world, Baby Janevior Waithira Mwangi,” Miracle Baby wrote.
“Welcome, Baby Janeviour Waithera Mwangi,” Carol wrote.
This followed earlier celebrations in February 2025, when they announced that Carol was expecting their second baby.
Miracle Baby confirmed the news in an interview, explaining that Carol was four months pregnant at the time and addressing rumours that had sparked speculation about their relationship.
Love life
Their firstborn was born on February 18, 2023. However, Miracle Baby has four other children with different women.
Miracle Baby’s aspiration to have 17 children has been a recurring theme in his public interviews.
In an October 2020 interview on Mambo Mseto with Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Miracle Baby revealed his ambitious plan to father 17 children.

At the time, the former Gengetone musician disclosed that he had four children with different women.
Miracle Baby disclosed that one of his kids was abandoned at his doorstep in a basin and that he had to take care of it because he suspected it was his as the toddler resembled him.
