Megan Thee Stallion speaks out after health scare incident

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has spoken publicly after a health scare forced her to exit a performance of Moulin Rouge mid-show.
In a post shared on Instagram on Thursday, April 2, 2025, the rapper reassured supporters following reports of an incident during a public appearance, reflecting on the frightening experience.
She described the moment as a serious wake-up call, admitting that she had been overworking herself and ignoring signs of exhaustion.
Megan explained that she had been pushing beyond her limits and “running on empty,” until her body could no longer keep up.
In her message, she revealed how intense the situation felt, saying she thought she might faint while still on stage.
Despite trying to push through the performance, she ultimately had to stop and prioritise her health. She noted that the experience genuinely scared her and made her realise the importance of rest and self-care.

“Last night was a real wake-up call for me. I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage,” she said.
The rapper also took time to thank her fans, known as “Hotties,” for their unwavering support. She emphasised that being honest with them was important, especially during such a moment, because of how much they mean to her.
Megan added that she hates letting her supporters down but wanted to be transparent about what happened.
She reassured fans that she is recovering well and taking the necessary time to rest before returning to the stage.

Megan also confirmed that she plans to resume her role once she is fully ready, promising to come back stronger and deliver her performance at full capacity.
“I really tried to push through my performance, but I just couldn’t. Hotties, I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting y’all down,” she wrote.
