TikToker MC Chris Kirubi Junior has called on Bishop Ben Kiengei to ensure that President William Ruto is reminded of Gen Z’s struggle and sacrifices during his upcoming visit to Jesus Christ Compassion Ministry (JCM).

In a Facebook post on Saturday, February 21, 2026, MC Chris highlighted that many young people stood up, and some even lost their lives while pushing for a better Kenya, while others continued helping one another in the aftermath.

“Letter to Bishop Ben Guka wa Nairobi Muthee Kiengei: when his excellency comes to church tomorrow, do not forget to remind him about the Gen Z who died, who stood up, and the others who helped one another afterwards,” he wrote.

He emphasised that the President should be made aware of their struggles and contributions during the visit, warning that failing to acknowledge them would amount to disregarding their rights and efforts.

“We visited and swore you would not cooperate with them. If you do that, you will have done what is right,” he wrote.

In a separate post, MC Chris further shared his personal reflections on the Gen Z story and the upcoming visit of President William Ruto to JCM.

He indicated that the situation had prompted him to ask many questions and reflect deeply on the events that had unfolded.

MC Chris suggested that the post was also meant to start a conversation, noting that he would discuss the matters further in the future.

“This story about Gen Z and JCM, and then Ruto visiting JCM on Sunday, makes me reflect and ask myself many questions and fill myself with a lot of thoughts about everything that happened. We will also talk about it further,” he wrote.

Kiengei’s confirmation

Kirubi’s statement comes just hours after Bishop Kiengei confirmed that President William Ruto will attend a special church service at his ministry as it marks a major milestone.

In a public announcement shared on Facebook on Saturday, February 21, 2026, the preacher warmly welcomed the Head of State to Jesus Christ Compassion Ministry (JCM) ahead of its third anniversary celebration scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026.

In the message, Bishop Kiengei described the church as the home of compassion and extended an invitation to President Ruto, referring to him as the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya.

“Karibu Kanisa la Watu Wote, Rais wa Tano wa Jamhuri ya Kenya His Excellency Hon William Samoei Ruto. Welcome to the Home of Compassion,” he wrote.
