Kanyari’s prayer
In the same breath, Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari showed his support for boxer Mbavu Destroyer by offering a public prayer for his victory ahead of the much-anticipated clash against Majembe.
The prayer session took place inside his Njiru-based church, drawing attention from followers who have been closely monitoring the build-up to the fight.
During the moment, Kanyari expressed confidence in Mbavu Destroyer’s chances in the ring, declaring that he would emerge victorious and even defeat his opponent in a dominant fashion.
He also rallied supporters to stand behind the boxer, urging fans to cheer him on as he prepares for the showdown.

“And I am praying now that Mbavu will be the one to win that boxing match. He will trash Majembe until Majembe is left shocked at what happened. Let us all cheer for Mbavu,” the preacher said.
This development added to Kanyari’s earlier endorsement of Mbavu Destroyer, where he openly stated that he would back the fighter despite acknowledging that his technical boxing skills may still be developing.
“I do not like Majembe, and I want him to be defeated when they get to the ring,” he said.
The pastor noted that while Mbavu Destroyer may still be refining his punching technique, his promotional and marketing skills have impressed him.
Kanyari praised the way the boxer has built excitement around the match, drawing attention from fans and creating a buzz that even he could not ignore.
“I want him to be defeated by Mbavu Destroyer. The reason I am supporting Mbavu Destroyer is that I see he is a good marketer,’ he said.
